What a nominating board buys you
The capability that moves an election from a package to an enterprise one: ballots sealed under a key split between your own trustees, so no single person, including us, can read a result until enough of them agree to open it.
Questions about pricing
Is CharterVote really free?
Yes, for votes up to twenty-five eligible members, with no time limit and no card. You only pay when an election is larger than that, or when you want the certified record and the other paid capabilities.
Do we pay per election or by subscription?
Either. Pay once for a single important election, priced by the number of eligible voters, or subscribe annually if your organisation votes regularly. Organisations that vote once a year are usually better off paying per election.
Is the verifiable record an extra?
No. The certified, verifiable record is included in every paid tier and is never an upsell. Sealing the count is the point of the platform, not an add-on to it.
What happens if we set an election up wrongly?
An honest setup mistake earns a free re-run. Nothing is charged or sealed until you confirm on the review page, so a draft can be corrected freely before it becomes a live ballot.
Can our members vote without creating accounts?
Yes. Members reach the ballot with an access code and are accredited once for a single vote. No member ever needs a CharterVote account to take part.
